Purifying Face Wash

Description

This facial wash will help to cleanse and refine your skin without over stripping its natural moisture.  I have chosen natural plant based alpha hydroxy extracts that have been individually steam distilled to create a botanical mix that will naturally help your skin to exfoliate revealing fresher brighter skin as the top layer of dead cells are removed.  This means that any other actives used on your skin will be more readily absorbed and effective.  Use daily to brighten and revive dull complexions.

The ritual

Use daily on face, neck and chest.  Apply a small amount to you hand, rub your hands together briefly then hold your hands over your face, inhale for three slow breaths, the tea tree, neroli and cypress blend will revitalise and refresh.  Massage onto damp skin and rinse off with my muslin face cloth.  Take care around the delicate eye area.

when the skin is still damp a spritz of hydrating facial mist will keep your skin hydrated.

Ingredients

Tea tree

Organic steam distilled tea tree oil is a fabulously refreshing oil that has been used for centuries to cleanse and heal.  It has powerful antiseptic properties.

Neroli

This has got to be one of my favourite oils.  It is produced from the bitter orange tree and has a green and floral scent.  This oil is incredibly balancing and uplifting. On the skin it has a toning and soothing effect and is an antioxidant so will protect against external assaults on the skin like pollution or the sun.

Cypress

This oil is good for the circulation and is very stimulating, it has a refreshing and astringent effect. In aromatherapy I would choose this oil to help clients who suffer with low mood or lethargy.
